Surah Al-A raf, verses 11-17, are as follows: We have indeed created you, then We gave you shape, and then We said to the angels, Prostrate to Adam. Which strong-wristed blacksmith will open for us with his anvil a gate that leads to such a straight path? Jewish scholars asked Prophet Muhammad three questions. They said, if he can answer these questions, he is the prophet of Allah. But if he cannot answer, he is a liar and an impostor. One of these questions was about the man who journeyed to the east and the west. Prophet Muhammad received the questions and said, Okay. For fifteen days, there was no word. Meanwhile, those who had asked the questions began to mock, thinking the Prophet would be unable to answer. But finally, the verses of Surah Al-Kahf began to be revealed: And they ask you about Dhul-Qarnayn. Say: I will recite to you a remembrance of him. Thus, information began to be conveyed about who this man was the one who roamed through space-time and was equipped with authorities given to no one else on earth.
