Muhammed Semseddin Yesil Library s foundation reaches until 1932. The library s primary purpose is to explain Islam s religion based on the Koran and Hz. Muhammed s ideas. Muhammed Semseddin Yesil devoted his life to serving Turkish society with his invaluable publications, such as his newspaper, Islamiyet Gazetesi, and the weekly magazine, Hakikat Yolu. To present interest, he is one of the century s most influential authors and rare Islamic literature, including over 150 books and newspapers.

As is known, Islamic History begins with the blessed birth of our Prophet (peace be upon him). Historians also record in detail the noble life of the Prophet, the incidents he encountered while fulfilling his duty of Prophethood, the tortures he was subjected to, especially his migration from his homeland, and the way the Muslims of Medina embraced him. They also chronologically record significant events such as the battles of Badr, Uhud, and the Trench, which were matters of life and death for the Muslims. In the last two centuries, authors of Islamic History have taken the late Ahmed Cevdet Pasha s Kısas-ı Enbiya ve Tevarih-i Hulefa as a primary reference, simplifying the language used in this work to produce their own. In this book, Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), authored by Muhammed Şemseddin Yeşil Efendi, many subtleties are highlighted beyond the well-known facts. In particular, the issue of the Caliphate that arose after the blessed appearance of the Messenger of Allah is explained in the finest detail through verses of the Qur an and hadiths. The division of Islam into sects, the infiltration of discord, and the millions of people who remain disunited because of these hidden or distorted truths are clarified with both rational and textual evidence in this work. In short, in order to resolve the disputes that still persist today between Shia and Ahl al-Sunnah, it is essential for every reasonable Muslim to read this book free from bias. Before his passing, in the 1960s, Muhammed Şemseddin Yeşil Hazretleri published a small book titled A Response to Those Who Demand Reform in the Religion of Islam. The book was well-received by readers and went through multiple editions. Today, people tend to show less interest in shorter books, so the opening section of this book, titled ISLAMIC RELIGION, has been revised and included in this edition. Some of the sentences from the book s content are as follows: The true human does not settle for the transient knowledge; rather, they try to bring forth the knowledge concealed within their own existence. A great universe is hidden within a mere 50-60 kilogram sack of blood and bones. Therefore, do not be heedless. The order of the universe is sustained by religion. Religion is the educator of the conscience; it is the mother of morality. If people do not illuminate their hearts and minds through morality but instead pursue selfish interests, falsifying the truth and presenting falsehood as truth, they will face the same treatment from those who rule over them. Yes, Islam is not a simple matter, as those who wander in the realm of denial might think. It is heroism on the path of Truth. The first command is: to protect the truth, one must distance oneself from the masses, which leads to failure. The Islamic faith never accepts a person with human dignity to bow to humiliation or submit to tyranny. A person of faith does not engage in flattery, for their faith does not prevent them from speaking the truth. In a society where modesty exists, trust, safety, and dignity also exist. Where there is no modesty, there are crimes, shameful acts, lust, hostility, and betrayal of trust. In accordance with the hadith A person will be with whom he loves, it is essential for a Muslim to love the Messenger of Allah and His Ahl al-Bayt (the Prophet s blessed family) in order to attain eternal happiness and to be in their company in the Hereafter. And in order to truly love them, one must know them well and be aware of their virtues. However, despite this necessity, unfortunately there are very few books written specifically about the Ahl al-Bayt. On the other hand, there are hundreds of books written about the virtues of scholars and jurists. Surely, the reason behind this is well understood by those who know the matter. The war that was once waged against Hz. Ali and the Ahl al-Bayt has sadly continued until today... The Noble Hadiths of Our Prophet A Guide Illuminating the Paths of This World and the Hereafter The hadiths of our Prophet (peace be upon him) serve as a guiding light for humanity on the path to success in both this world and the Hereafter. For this reason, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: May Allah brighten the face of the one who hears my words, memorizes them, and conveys them as he heard them to others. The hadiths in this book have been carefully selected from authentic sources such as Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. Every believer can find guidance and reflection within these hadiths. When a person organizes their life with sincere intention and a pure heart, they can attain happiness in both worlds. An alphabetical index at the end of the book has been prepared to help readers access comprehensive information on specific topics without distraction. The numbers next to the subjects indicate the page numbers where different hadiths related to that topic can be found. Sample Hadiths from the Book: None of you truly believes until he loves for his fellow believer what he loves for himself. Whoever believes in Allah and in the Hereafter should speak good or remain silent. Whoever believes in Allah and in the Hereafter should honor his neighbor and not cause him harm. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should show hospitality to his guest without expecting anything in return. Two traits cannot coexist in a believer: miserliness and bad character. Generosity covers faults and shortcomings. Though the son of Adam grows old, two traits in him do not age: greed and the longing for more. A person is not considered wealthy by possessing abundant riches; true wealth is a heart free from malice and full of inner peace. The Surahs of Prayer Their Meanings and Secrets There are eleven Surahs commonly recited in prayer , each with its own name: Al-Fatiha, Al-Fil, Quraysh, Al-Ma?un, Al-Kawthar, Al-Kafirun, An-Na?r, Al-Masad (Tabbat), Al-Ikhla?, Al-Falaq, and An-Nas. These surahs are composed of short and concise verses, making them easy to memorize. It is obligatory (far?) for every believer who is responsible for performing prayer (?alah) to memorize these surahs. In the book you hold, you will find detailed tafsir (interpretation) of these surahs. When a believer performs prayer with an understanding of the meanings of the surahs being recited, they prepare themselves consciously and mindfully. In doing so, they begin to experience the sweetness of speaking with Allah , the Lord of all speech. This awareness saves them from mere imitation (taqlid) and allows them to immerse themselves in the truth of the saying: Prayer is the ascension (mi?raj) of the believer. One section of the book is dedicated to unveiling the secrets of prayer , with detailed explanations. In the section titled The Secrets of Creation (Esrar-ı ?ilqah), you will also find discussions on the mysteries and subtleties of human creation. This book is not only a solution to the theological difficulties faced by the Christian world regarding Islam but also a valuable resource for addressing religious challenges throughout the entire Muslim world. More precisely, this book serves as a comparative study between Islam and Christianity, providing evidence and arguments proving why Islam surpasses all other religions intellectually and scientifically. The subject of the book is based on 23 questions that were asked in 1957 by an American lawyer conducting research on Islam. These questions were directed to the Turkish Directorate of Religious Affairs. However, the responses given by the officials there were found by Şemseddin Yeşil Efendi (may Allah sanctify his noble secret) to be largely insufficient and, in some cases, incorrect. Therefore, he took upon himself the sacred duty of answering these questions properly. ### The Questions Asked: 1. God? (Allah) 2. Holy Trinity? (Ekanîm-i Selâse) 3. Jesus Christ? (Hazret-i İsa) 4.
