WELCOME TO SEL PUBLISHING HOUSE Sel Publishing was founded in 1990 and remains independent to this day. It defined its aim as providing the Turkish reader with both the original and translated literary works of contemporary writers. In the early 1990s, Turkey s social life was marked by significant political changes, transformations, and crises. And as SEL felt the necessity to determine its editorial view on those changes it published political and journalistic works on social matters like anti-democratic policies in Turkey including the problems faced by Kurdish people.
