In 1997, we came into the world of publishing, declaring we create emotions, we nourish emotions. We were just a group of hopeful people who read, inquire, question, share but most importantly want to contribute to the good. We gathered around our founder Cem Mumcu, who is a psychiatrist, writer, painter, and after 1997 a publisher. And since the first book, the first line; we insisted Okuyan Uslanmaz (the ones who read don t behave), and we intend not to behave. Over time, we achieved publishing hundreds of books and working with hundreds of writers in psychology, psychiatry, what is called self-improvement as we dislike and seeing yourself as we prefer, communication, literature, cooking, cinema, humor, travel, poetry, philosophy, history, memoir, literary reviews, photography, and juvenile-literature. We are Okuyan Us Publishing. We are who we are. We still contribute to the good, create and nourish emotions, and refuse to behave... As if it were the first day, and as if it were the first lines...
