Türkiye İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları (Türkiye İş Bankası Cultural Publications) was founded in 1956 by Hasan Âli Yücel. Hasan Âli Yücel combined the power emanating from Türkiye İş Bankası with the rapid and abundant translation of the world classics that began during his time as Minister of National Education, and the speed and abundance inherent in the widely read edition, thus establishing one of the most important and enduring publishing houses. By publishing documents that showcase our history, social structure, ethnography, and ministry characteristics, the publishing house has become indispensable for priority research and, increasingly, for all intellectuals. Today, Hasan Âli Yücel boasts a robust portfolio of books published in the Classics Series, the Modern Classics Series, Children and Youth, and Research and Analysis categories.
