Kültür AŞ is a joint-stock company established in October 1989 within the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to provide culture, arts, and tourism services. In line with its founding purpose, it carries out a wide range of activities such as cultural events, publishing, museum management, outdoor advertising, and the operation of cultural venues to promote Istanbul s cultural, geographical, and artistic assets. While implementing its projects through public tenders, sponsorships, or its own resources, it also develops inclusive collaborations that contribute to the sector s growth. Operating under the İstanbul Kitapçısı brand, the institution serves visitors at 25 branches, including 2 mobile units, and hosts free cultural and artistic events at select locations. In these branches, books from many publishers across various categories are offered for sale alongside publications by İBB Yayınları.
