The foundations of ILKYAR were established in 1978 while one of our founders, Prof. Dr Hüseyin Vural was studying for his doctorate in America. Ilkyar (Aid Foundation for Primary Schools). In 1998 Prof. Dr Sıddık Yarman, Prof. Dr Mahir Arıkol and Prof. Dr Hüseyin Vural formally established the foundation and since then countless aid projects for schools all around Turkey has done by volunteers.
