Gerekli Seyler started operating in 1996 as Turkiye s first and only comic book store. It is the first representative of the industry now known as entertainment in our country. It began its industry-specific activities in 2009 with comic book and manga (Japanese comic book) publishing and continues to be Turkiye s number one manga publisher with over 80 brands (of manga and comic books) and 15 world-renowned partners such as Viz Media, Kodansha, and Nickelodeon. It continues to grow in the comic book retail industry with its stores located in various cities across Turkiye.
