Faruk Dilaver was born in 1946 in the Vezirköprü district of Samsun. He completed primary school in Vezirköprü, middle school in Tokat, and high school in Ordu. He completed his master s degree at the Eskişehir Academy of Commerce and Economic Sciences. He also received computer training in Germany and England. He made significant contributions to the introduction and establishment of computers in Turkey and trained numerous experts in this field. After serving in the Air Force for 11 years, he served as technical manager at a foundation affiliated with Hacettepe University. After this position, he pioneered the establishment of four companies in the computer sector and served as chairman of the board.
