BROY PUBLISHING HOUSE It was founded in October 1985 with editorial directorate of Seyyit Nezir. It joined the editorial world with Whitman s Leaves of Grass , Yevtushenko s Babi Yar , Turgut Uyar s The Infinite and the Other and Füsun Özbilgen s I send you tobacco and rosary . It published Broy Poetry Journal for 60 issues starting on November 1985. Afterwards Şairin Atölyesi - Poet s Workroom and Eski (The Old One) were published. It also published chess books besides literary works. It reached 250th book with Aydan Ay s story book Mr. Typist . Broy Poetry Journal had been the focus of significant debates with the Yenibütün-New Absolute- Manifesto (1988) declared against the aproaches giving acceleration to Postmodernism and the New Medieval. It incorporated the Sis Çanı Publishing after the death of Demirtaş Ceyhun in 2009.It took over the Çekirdek Publications after the death of Sait Maden in 2014.
