Bilgi Publishing Former journalist and literary aficionado Ahmet Tevfik Küflü established Bilgi Bookstore on Sakarya Street-Ankara in 1956. Before long, the bookstore became a frequent destination for the authors, poets, art lovers and book lovers of the time, and a landmark as one of the art and culture spots of Ankara. Nine years after the bookstore s opening, Bilgi Publishing was founded in 1965. To further and support this step, Bilgi Distribution was founded in 1972 with the purpose of distributing books country wide.
