Our Association The Municipal Libraries Association was established to Increase the presence and visibility of public library services provided by local governments, which are access points for information for the community; Inform/raise awareness among local administrators about the main purposes of these spaces and the necessary conditions for achieving these purposes; Conduct studies on local library standards and present these studies as feasible/sustainable projects primarily to local administrators; Work to obtain decisions from municipal councils regarding the priority employment of our colleagues who have received training in Information and Document Management in local government libraries and archives; Collaborate with other NGOs conducting professional activities to work on issues related to the profession and our colleagues; And to carry out activities on the subjects detailed in the Association s Statute.
