More Than Half a Million Visitors Were Hosted
The fair, which captivated its audience from day one, welcomed a total of 510,815 visitors over the course of nine days. Alongside avid book enthusiasts, parents attended with their children, fostering a family-friendly atmosphere. Visitors from across Istanbul came together to celebrate the theme 'Childhood is Festival' at the Istanbul Book Fair, making it an unforgettable event for everyone.
Strong Collaborations, Strong Fair
The fair, which will take place at TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center between 13-21 December 2025, is organized in cooperation with the Turkish Publishers Association.
High Interest in the International Hall
The International Hall, open from November 2-4 during the fair, hosted publishers from Germany, Albania, Azerbaijan, the United Kingdom, North Macedonia, China, Croatia, Iran, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Romania, Russia, Sri Lanka, and Greece. Through coversations held in the event area and meetings within the International Hall, they shared insights into the current state of the publishing market in their respective countries.
Illustrators' Wall Exhibition
Last year, as part of the Illustrators' Wall Exhibition, publishers reviewed the works of various illustrators. This platform provided illustrators with an opportunity to present their portfolios directly to publishers, showcase their creations, and explore new career opportunities.
Guest of Honor Country: Azerbaijan
Azerbaijan, a brotherly nation, was the guest of honor at the 41st International Istanbul Book Fair, held from November 2-10, 2024, at the TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center. Book enthusiasts had the chance to meet representatives from Azerbaijani publishing houses and authors. Readers gained a deeper understanding of Azerbaijan's cultural heritage and literature while participating in various events held in the International Hall.
