The Kitap publishing house was founded by Prof. Ali Atıf Bir under the company name AABİR in 2014 with a mission to bring qualified business and economics books to Turkey. Today it ensures that books from different categories, from Turkey and around the world, find their readers. The Kitap s primary goal is to contribute to developing intellectual funds in Turkey with non-fiction works in categories such as personal development, psychology, sociology, communication, media, political science, and history. Some of The Kitap s successful contributions are The Diet Myth The Real Science Behind What We Eat, Great Myths Of The Brain, What Philosophy Can Do?, Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat Mastering The Elements of Good Cooking and The Decision Book. The Roman, also a subsidiary of AABİR, began its operations in 2018 with its first published book, The Strangest by Michael J. Seidlinger. It continues publishing foreign literature and story books from modern and classical categories in Turkish. The Çocuk (The Child) first appeared with My First Philosophy Book in 2019 and continues bringing little ones the best instructive books.
